Well I attended one of the Sunday's before Christmas and we sang this beautiful hymn. "O come let us adore Him Christ the Lord" I was inspired to write a poem about Christmas and trust me it was such a great journey earlier on, we had the same hymn during our Christmas Carols as "The chariots choir" I didn't sleep what I could think about was how it would be and how I would start and end it.... Okay to some extent i didn't sleep because I had flu and may be because am not used to sleeping early but it was the only thing on my mind.
Bottom line: what really inspired me was the hymns "o come let us adore Him, Mary did you know"
STAR LIGHT
In the quiet of a starlit night, under the gentle gaze of a celestial choir, a humble stable became the birthplace of divine hope. The air was thick with a sense of awe, as the very heavens seemed to whisper the arrival of a promise fulfilled. The world, wrapped in the cold stillness of winter, found itself alight with an indescribable warmth, for unto us a child was born, a gift of boundless love and joy.
This infant, cradled in the arms of a young mother, was destined to bring light to the darkest corners of human existence. His birth was not just an event, but a beacon that heralded a new dawn—a dawn where love transcended all boundaries, and joy was not merely a fleeting emotion but a state of grace bestowed upon all who believed.
The angels sang of peace on earth and goodwill towards men, their voices a chorus of hope that resonated through the ages. Shepherds, the simple keepers of flocks, became the first witnesses of this miraculous birth, their hearts brimming with an uncontainable joy that could only come from witnessing something truly divine.
Let us remember the true essence of the season it's not about stuffing our tummies with junk.Let the story of that holy night fill our hearts with the same joy and wonder that it brought to those who first heard the angelic proclamation. May we carry this joy within us, spreading it to all we meet, and let the light of that first Christmas shine brightly in our lives.
